The Potter's Wheel by Rhavensfyre Review

Book Blurb

Would you dare love a Goddess?
The Potter's Wheel is a lesbian erotic romance. A short tale of epic love, both lost and found, and the undeniable passion between two unique and otherworldly women.

"“I don’t want you to treat me like a guest, Selene.”
Myna’s voice slid across her skin like warm silk. Selene put the water down before she dropped it. She was dizzy, somehow drunk on the other woman’s perfume. “You don’t?”
“No, I want you to treat me like the sun. Throw open those doors you have kept locked for so long and let me in.” Myna ran her thumb across Selene’s lower lip. “You are a beautiful woman, you should glow with that fire only another woman can ignite inside you.”

Note: This title was included in another release "Elemental Passions", which is no longer available.

They have a small farm in Pennsylvania where they raise and breed horses. KL is a horse trainer and has shown western pleasure in the past, now her focus is more on pleasure riding and breeding. She is an avid cyclist, and when she is not on four hooves she is on 2 wheels. Roxy works as a nurse by night and an artist by day. Isabella gets Grilled.

Isabella gets Grilled.

Today I got to talk to the great Isabella about her work. Isabella is a great author who writes Lesbian fiction, she also owns and runs Sapphire books publishing. I will do a post about them and the books you can buy in a few days. Isabella has several books out which you can all check here Isabella at answered a few questions below but she has also offered you guys a great gift. Anyone that likes her author Facebook page (link below) can message her and receive one of her books as a Thank you. How great is that guys. So once you've liked her page send her a message saying she's in Mummy's Naughty corner and a Hi would be nice and she'll send you one of her books.

1) I know a lot of Authors say it's like picking a favourite child but I'm still going to ask.Out of all of your books can you pick a favourite and why?

Wow, that's tough. I would have to say, Always Faithful, is my favorite. It opened doors and won awards. I love the characters, the love story and the hence the reason I am writing the sequel, Forever Faithful. Nic and Claire are close to my heart.

2) Ok I'm guessing you know what's coming now, can you pick a favourite character?

Awe, favorite character is from a different novel. Luce Potter is my favorite character. She instills fear in people, she demands respect and she has a kink side that keeps her centered. She's a deeper character and I've liked her growth through the series, American Yakuza I and II.

3) Did any of your stories absolutely consume you, control your every move until it was finished? If one did, do you feel you made it out of the experience whole and sane?

The book I'm working on now has had that affect on me. Forever Faithful finds Nic Caldwell wounded, physically and emotionally and she's in a tough spot after being injured in Afghanistan. Instead of being this brave, strong military soldier, we find Nic is the one hurting and wounded. It's Claire's turn to be the strength in the relationship, but there are some real struggles between the two that hopefully don't break them apart.

4) Do you have to deal with any crazy stalkers? Would you like some crazy stalkers lol?

Hmm, crazy stalkers. No, I've been pretty lucky...I don't think I'm a stalker magnet. LOL

5) What's the best compliment you have received about your work?

A fellow author told me that she enjoyed my body of work and that it could easily be mainstreamed. I thought that was a great compliment. When a reader takes time out of their busy days to write and tell me that I got it right, that means a lot to me, so those are great compliments to get, too.

6) Please take a moment to talk about your current work or latest release.

My latest release is Forever Faithful, it's a military romance that takes the characters from Always Faithful and puts them in a new environment, Monterey and Afghanistan. Nic has just finished her education and a prominent military university and she finds out she being sent to Afghanistan. Claire's life is turned upside down by what happens to Nic in Afghanistan and we get to see how these two women cope with death, destruction and tests their love.

7) Do you get nervous when you release a new title?

Always! I get nervous when it goes to edits, I get nervous when it's released and I get nervous when the first reviews come out. I always hope that readers will love my baby and that's a tough thing. I also hope that I've grown as a writer since my last novel.

8) Would you like to share any tips with new and aspiring authors?

Write, write and write some more. I meet lots of people who say they want to be writers and I ask them, "What's stopping you?" Believe in yourself and don't let other people's expectations stop you from doing what you love. There isn't a magic pill for success, only hard work. Expect to be rejected, but don't let it cloud your vision or allow you to lose your focus. Keep that goal out in front of you and know that sometimes you may have to recenter that goal, because life happens and it gets in the way, but being prepared for it helps.

Thanks Charmaine for the opportunity to share a little bit about myself with your readers.

Mask by Teodora Kostova Blog Tour

Adam Fischer doesn’t believe in second chances. Heartbroken after his lover Charlie leaves him to chase his music career in L.A., Adam is convinced that meaningless one-night-stands are all life has in store for him.

Until fate drops Penn Shields in his lap.

Penn is a young, talented designer fresh out of college who has just landed his dream job as a wardrobe assistant in Queen Victoria theatre, where Adam is performing in a popular musical.

He’s also Charlie's brother.

The last thing Penn wants is to follow in his brother’s footsteps, especially since they haven’t spoken in years. However, the attraction he feels for Adam grows with each day, and soon resisting it proves to be futile.

As Adam and Penn get to know each other intimately, they both realise that first impressions may be deceiving, and that, sometimes, second chances come in the same packaging.

The night passed in a blur of music, dancing, laughter, and glasses clicking together. The smile never left Penn’s face, and he looked like he was having the most fun, even though he switched to sparkling water after the second cocktail. Adam loved dancing with him, holding him tight as Penn wiggled that delicious ass against Adam's hips. He loved the way his skin smelled when it was flushed and sweaty, and couldn’t help but kiss him every chance he got.
By 2:00 AM the club started to wind down. Jared and Fenix were still dancing, holding each other as they swayed to the slow, sexy rhythm of the current song. Penn placed his empty glass on the table and turned to look at Adam over his shoulder. Adam knew that look. That look promised some very naughty things happening to him in the near future.
Turning to fully face Adam, Penn moved to straddle his hips and lock his hands behind his neck. He then dipped his head and gave Adam a teasing, sensual kiss, just lips moving against lips, until Adam groaned and buckled his hips to meet Penn’s.
“Wanna dance?” Penn asked as he separated their mouths. Adam shook his head vigorously and hooking a hand behind his neck, bringing Penn down again. He kissed him urgently, demanding instant access with his tongue. Penn allowed him in, grinding their hips together in the slow rhythm of the song, and moaning obscenely as Adam cupped his ass and squeezed.
Just then, the song changed. Hearing the first notes of Nix’s latest ballad, Penn froze. His mouth was slack against Adam's and his fingers were surely leaving red marks on Adam's neck.
Did he always have that reaction when hearing one of his brother’s songs? Or was it just because he was there with Adam?
Adam didn't care. He didn't want Penn to feel like that.
“Hey,” he whispered in Penn’s ear, moving his hands from Penn’s ass to circle them around his waist. “I see you.” Penn cast him a surprised, confused look, the hesitation and disbelieve in his grey gaze grabbing on something inside Adam and twisting it until it hurt. “Alright? You,” he said, pointing a finger at Penn’s chest, and placing his palm right over his heart. “You,” he repeated in a whisper, closing his eyes against the moisture that had suddenly appeared there.
Penn touched their foreheads together and Adam felt him nod.
For now, that small gesture of agreement would have to do.

Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband and my son. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job a few years ago when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had the guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among other things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Nintendo Wii game by a kid.

Don't be shy and get in touch - I love connecting with my readers.
